A little update from us

It's October, which means it's Pituitary Awareness Month!

Our own dedicated awareness day, that we launched last year, will take place on Friday 20 October. The theme this year is Your Voice. Shining a light on advocating for your health. Thank you to our contributors and to all of you who help us raise awareness.

We have been very busy at Maternal Pituitary Support over the past few months. We have been working hard behind the scenes, with (quite boring) things, that really needed to be done. Including, switching to a new newsletter template (we hope that all of you are now receiving our newsletter) and making sure our internal systems are all in working order as we grow.

We have also been working on something very exciting too. Our awareness raising campaign! And, thanks to an amazing team of super skilled volunteers, this will launch next year.

Running a newly formed Community Interest Company when both Directors have Sheehan's Syndrome does have its challenges!  We have both been on a health rollercoaster over the past few months. We have always had the rule that we work when we can, we work when we're well and our health and family come first. That's why, from time to time if we're a little quiet, you know why. That said, we are totally committed to MPS in the long-term and we want to bring about much needed change and offer support to those who have been impacted by maternal pituitary conditions. If you believe in what we're doing and think you can help us, we're now actively looking for volunteers. Perhaps you're a whizz at social media, or you love writing, or you'd be able to chat to someone who is newly diagnosed, then please get in touch now at info@maternalpituitarysupport.org

As always, thank you for all your support.
